Mushroom Balls

Mushroom Balls

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Cook Time: 45 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour, 15 minutes


  • 1 pkg Large Mushrooms
  • ½ lb ground beef
  • Small Mozarella balls
  • 1lb bacon
  • cream cheese (any flavor)


  1. Remove stem from mushrooms, use spoon to clear out inside of cap.
  2. Use spoon to stuff cream cheese inside of mushroom caps.
  3. Wrap a couple of small mozzarella balls with beef.
  4. Shape into a ball.
  5. Set beef ball on top of cream cheese in mushroom.
  6. Sprinkle rub on beef ball.
  7. Wrap top to bottom with two slices of bacon using a toothpick to secure bacon.
  8. Smoke at 275 until bacon is crispy.
  9. Paint with bbq sauce.
  10. Let smoke for 10 more minutes, then remove from smoker.
  11. Enjoy.
